Nashville Eating: Where the Foodies Go
Nashville is all about two things; music and food! Food is life and the locals here take that very seriously. There are tons of excellent places to eat all over town and you are sure to find something to suit your palate. Whether you are in the mood of something exotic or a little soul food, I guarantee you are in for a treat once you choose the right place to eat. Here is a list of some of the best places to eat in town. (Looking for more great information on Nashville?)
Etch Restaurant
Etch Restaurant specializes in American and Contemporary cuisine. Be warned, it is a little pricey but the food is exceptional. In addition to the phenomenal taste, the presentation of each meal is colorful and appealing. This makes eating the meal even more exciting. And just in case the delicious meal wasn’t enough, the wine list was impeccably selected. I must admit, there were a few flaws here and there, but there is no better restaurant in Nashville if you ask me.
5th And Taylor
As the name suggests, 5th and Taylor is located on 5th Avenue. This restaurant was ranked number 10 out of the almost 2000 restaurants in Nashville. Patrons always rave that both the food and the décor is exceptionally beautiful in this restaurant. The sausage biscuit and the monkey bread come highly recommended. The variety offered by the menu also makes the experience even more memorable.
The Stillery
The Stillery is another top restaurant in Nashville that I would strongly suggest you pay a visit. The menu is loaded with American classics like mac and cheese , rangoon and deviled eggs. This restaurant always attracts quite a crowd and you may have to wait a little before you get in. Thankfully, they have a top of the line system that sends alerts to your phone to notify you when your seat is ready. This restaurant also has options like pretzel burgers that your kids will love. Why not make a reservation for your entire family?
Mas Tacos
If you are a fan of spicy Mexican food, there is no better place to go than Mas Tacos. They know how to bring the heat and you might even work up quite a sweat during your meal. They supply an endless combination of tacos and sides. Plus the food here is very affordable. Some tacos are as cheap as $3. Some of the menu favorites are the plantains, the tortilla soup and the beef taco. I wouldn’t recommend taking the kids along when you visit Mas Tacos but I can assure you that you are in for quite a treat.
Five Points Pizza
Five Points Pizza is located on Woodland Street and it is the only place I would recommend if you are in the mood for Italian food. Don’t be surprised if you see a line waiting to get into the restaurant. The food there is just that good. The staff is also well trained and very attentive. The food is authentic and the portions are huge. It definitely sounds like a good combination to me.
